This might possibly become my most controversial post, simply due to the nature of this manga. This was one manga that confused the heck out of me, making me question my sexual preferences as well as my likes and dislikes. But overall, it was one of the most entertaining manga I’ve ever read, so I really just have to recommend this manga out.
Manga name: Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen
Chapters read: 83
Weirdly enough, it seems that my affinity with manga that have long names are quite high(see Yuusha ga Shinda & Yuuna-san). That aside though, pulling away from the more ecchi picks, on the third edition of Magnificent Manga, I shall be featuring the Death Note/Liar Game of rom-com manga: Kaguya-sama.
Now, don’t be mistaken: just because Kaguya-sama is a rom-com doesn’t mean it will have bad plot, as well as draggy chapters and many fillers. In fact, it is far from it. With that said, it’s time to dive into this manga.
Manga name: Yuusha ga Shinda!: Murabito no Ore ga Hotta Otoshiana ni Yuusha ga Ochita Kekka.
Chapters read: 26
Now then, since the reception for the last post was so good, I present to you the second Magnificent Manga, Yuusha ga Shinda!! While the full name of this manga may be a mouthful, and the art style doesn’t look all that impressive from the outside, this manga is one hidden gem that manages to at least stand out a little bit from your average fantasy manga.
For now, I will talk about the goods and bads, and this post will definitely be less one-sided than Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san, since Yuusha ga Shinda! does have a lot of shortcomings.
Keeping to my promise, I will now start off the Manga section of my blog with a series I recently read: Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san. It’s a wonderful series which combines ecchi, romance and comedy pretty perfectly while still maintaining an interesting plot.
